DEAN - Would like information on the spouse, parents and siblings of John Dean who was born about 1765 in Virginia, was in Wilkes Co., NC by 1793 and in Floyd Co., KY by 1810. This was the part that later became Pike Co. One son, Job Dean, remained in Pike Co. Had daughters PERNINA who married SAM JAMES, SARAH DEAN who married ABRAHAM WIREMAN, MIRANDA DEAN who married JOHN MCQUEARY in 1818. AMOS DEAN was also in Floyd County, in Lawrence County by 1833. Believe Amos was John's brother but no proof. JOHN DEAN died 1846 in Wayne Co., WVA. Would appreciate any information. Freda Strampe

BELCHER / SOWARDS-- I am looking for infomation on the family of Prentiss Belcher (1866-1907). His parents were John W. and Dorcas. John W.'s parents were John Wesley Belcher and Anna Moore. Prentiss Belcher married Martha SOWARDS (1869-1941). The census records show she was born in KY. Any Pike Co. connections?

ROWE - I am looking for information concerning Charles Rowe Jr. born abt. 1830, married Catherine Rowe on 21 November 1849. Charles was listed in marriage books of Pike County 1822-1865 as being the son of Jacob Rowe. Catherine was listed as the daughter of Reuben Rowe. Charles Rowe Jr. is my wifes GGGrandfather. Any information concerning Charles Rowe Jr., Jacob Rowe or Rueben Rowe would be appreciated. I am will to share any information that I have on Rowes, Looneys, and Rameys. Ron

MULLINS - I am looking for any information on Sampsin Abraham (Bud) Mullins born December 1868 and wife Alka Maynard born April 1874. Children by this marriage is shown in 1910 Pike County Census as daughter Virgie born August 1890, son Louranzy born March 1892, son Malcolm born 03, April 1895, daughter Susie year of birth unknown, daughter Lyda born October 1897, son Basil born 1899 and twins son Zola and daughter Zelon born 1906. ADKINS - Looking for info on Louise Caroline Adkins b. May 1881 who married Andy Adams, b. 1874 in Pike Co., son of Isaac Adams and Elizabeth Justice. Andy and "Caroline" were married March 1897 and had 1 daughter, Ella. I don't know if Caroline died or if they were divorced. Any info would be appreciated.

AKERS - I am trying to find the whereabouts of my neice Crystal Renee Akers....Her father's name was Frank Akers....Her Mother died in 1984 her name was Sandra Kay Southers (Wolford).....lost touch with her in 1985....I also have a nephew named William Earl Akers....they were born in about 1973 and 1975......Any information will be apprieciated.
