SKEENS - I am interested in finding information realted to my great grandfather, Ephriam SKEENS.  He died in Pike County sometime around 1914 (?) when my grandfather Thomas SKEENS was about 7 years old.  He is buried at Lick Creek, KY.  He was married to Polly Ann Ratliff. It is uncertain if he was born in Pike County, but it is highly likely. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

HOPKINS - I would like information on America Hopkins b.ca 1846 d.1-9-1901. She is buried Fergeson Cemetery, Pike Co. She was the d/o Joseph and Lucinda Morgan Hopkins b.ca 1817 and married 2-8-1841in Pike Co. Lucinda was the d/o Zachariah and Mary/Polly Morgan. Lucinda also had a sister Nancy b.ca 1819. Nancy first m. Stephen Sergent in Harlan Co., Ky. They divorced and she later came to Lawrence Co., Ky. Do not know if she remarried and had other children or not but would like to know. My ggmother, America Hopkins m.William Worth Cecil b.2-15-1846 and d. 2-6-1936 in Floyd Co., Ky. I do not know of any siblings of America Hopkins, I suspect she had others living in Pike Co. Any information would be wonderful, also any on the Stratton's (Andrew or Adam Jackson) from Floyd Co. these were my grandfather's.

JOHNSON - Looking for information on John William JOHNSON, born Pike County abt, 1830.  He was married to Martha Blankenship and living in Wyoming County (WV) in the 1850 census, Clay County (WV) in the 1860 census and died in Clay Co 1900-1910.  Any information on parents or siblings would be appreciated.  Have much info on descendants and Blankenship family to share.

Berk/ Burk/Frazier - Looking for an Elizabeth Berk/Burk or Frazier.  This would be her maiden name.   Was born in Pike County.  Father is John Frazier, also born in Pike County. Her mother is Mary Berk/ Burk.  Elizabeth would have been born around 1925. Her half sister Edna Frazier is very ill and she would like to hear from her before she dies.

SISEMORE - I am trying to research my surname (Sisemore) My Grandfather was Philip Sisemore. He was born in Kentucky. I believe it was in Pike County. He left there in 1948 and went to California. CHANEY - My grandmother, Goldie May CHANEY, was born 4 May 1912 in Morgan Co., KY (Grassy Creek).  On grandma's birth certificate it states that her father, John Morrison CHANEY was born in Pike Co., KY and that his age at the time of her birth was 49 (born c. 1863?).  On John Morrison CHANEY's death certificate, it states that his father's name was George CHANEY born in VA.  It also states that his mother was Molly/Polly MOORE born in KY (county unknown).  Looking for birth/sibling/marriage/death information on George CHANEY and Molly/Polly MOORE.   Also looking for birth/sibling info for John Morrison CHANEY.  Please e-mail.       Thank you.

GOOSLIN - Seeking any information on the family of Ambrose Gooslin and Milly (Keesee) Gooslin, his wife.  They were married approximately 2 years before she remarried to Joseph Rutherford.  Did Ambrose die or was there a divorce?  They had two boys, Hammond who married Jane Hunt, and John who married Cynthia Smith.  These boys were raised by their grandparents, Richard and Judy Keesee.  Need information on where these Gooslins are buried and information on names of children and dates.  Will share any and all information.

MEADE - I am searching for the ancestors of Arminta or possibly Araminta MEAD(E), born approximately 1843.  She was the wife of my great grandfather, Archibald THOMPSON, born 1843, son of William THOMPSON and Milly BORDERS of Lawrence Co., Ky.
